When a browsing solution claims they keep you private online… ask them from who?
Here are “the pertinent questions” for any claimed solution to answer: Does the solution:
- keep your browsing history private from other users who may have physical access of your device either legally or illegally?
- keep your browsing private from the builder of the browser being used (Google, Microsoft, Apple, Mozilla etc…)
- keep your browsing history private from the Internet provider you use?
- keep you private from every website visited?
Apply these FOUR test to any claimed safe browsing solution. When you do, you will quickly appreciate that MANY claimed browsing solutions only keep you private in just ONE of these FOUR tests.
